A Police Officer is the icon of heroism in America. Society calls upon law enforcement to provide for the protection of life and property. From the civilian population, men and women are called upon to perform this civil duty. They do so at the risk of losing everything, including their very lives. It is for this reason that they are held in the highest esteem by those that entrust to them the keys of civility, order, and peace. This section of our Web site is dedicated in loving memory of those Police Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice of giving their lives to a society that all too often does not appreciate the price paid. A society that is quick to judge in hindsight, a decision that must be made in a split second. To these men and women, and their families, we say thank-you. Thank you for your sons and daughters, your fathers and mothers, who laid down their lives for people they don't even know. |
